“SOMETHING TERRIBLE IS COMING” Marc Marquez is worried about the upcoming race in Japan as the Ducati rider feels a terrible pressure weighing on his shoulders. To be able to become MotoGP champion this year, Marc Marquez needs to overcome these candidates 👇👇

Marc Márquez is on the brink of a historic moment, and the pressure is on as the upcoming MotoGP race in Japan – Motegi – could be the place where he can officially be crowned champion in 2025. After his recent victory in San Marino, Márquez has moved closer to the title with a big lead in points over Álex. But this difference in points does not lessen the formidable challenge the Ducati rider faces in the final stages. If he is to become champion this year, he will need to overcome not only technical problems and weather, but also rivals who are in very good form.

The victory in San Marino brought Márquez to 11 podiums for the season – a milestone that shows remarkable consistency and strength. At the same time, the pressure is coming from within the team, from Ducati, where everything has to be precise because even the smallest mistake can lose an advantage. Márquez admits the pressure is palpable during the San Marino week – everything has to be perfect if he is to maintain his lead.

His biggest rival at the moment is Álex Márquez, who has proven himself to be the clear favourite to win the race. Álex is not only consistent but has also been a consistent podium finisher, meaning the points gap can be closed very quickly if Marc makes a mistake. Alongside Álex is Ducati teammate Francesco Bagnaia – despite a few bumps in the road, Bagnaia is still a dangerous opponent with his experience, skill and deep understanding of the Ducati.

Another factor that cannot be overlooked is Marco Bezzecchi – a rider who is fiercely competitive, under pressure and performing at a high level. In San Marino, Bezzecchi has been able to beat him in the sprint and main races, forcing Márquez to stay focused to overtake him on the track. Along with that, we can mention names like Pedro Acosta (despite his mechanical problems), and VR46 Racing riders like Marco Bezzecchi – who are fearless and in the flow.

The Japanese stage with its unique track conditions, the possibility of rain, high temperature changes, tire pressures, and the possibility of technical errors is very high. Márquez refused to make major changes to the bike configuration at Misano to maintain stability. This shows that he wants to maintain his current form, avoiding the risk of too much testing when the important moment is approaching.

If Marc wants to become the 2025 MotoGP champion, he needs to:

Maintain current form, not let any stage be a setback.

Handle well the mental pressure from expectations, from teammates, from opponents and from himself.

Manage well external factors such as weather, tires, track conditions, and technical problems.

Defending the advantage against Álex Márquez, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi… anyone who can surprise.

The race in Japan is not just an opportunity but also a final test to see if Marc Márquez can overcome all to win the crown. Something terrible is coming – maybe a step into history, or if not alert and well prepared, maybe the biggest risk of the season.
