Congratulations are pouring in for legendary NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his longtime wife, Amy Earnhardt.

It’s been a busy summer for Earnhardt and his family. The iconic NACSAR driver, whose father is the late, great Dale Earnhardt Sr., has been very involved in the last month of Cup Series race. Dale Jr. is one of the lead broadcasters for Amazon Prime’s NASCAR broadcasts.

Amazon Prime took over the broadcasting responsibilities for the NASCAR Cup Series at the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte last month. It’s broadcasting about a month’s worth of races, before TNT takes over.

NASCAR fans have been very happy so far with the performance of Dale Jr. and the Amazon Prime team as a whole.

“Such an upgrade from Fox Sports,” one fan said.

Longtime NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin has been impressed, too. He didn’t hold back on the broadcast.

“I did get to watch the post-race show,” Hamlin said after the first race in Charlotte. “Thought that was fantastic. Their on-air talent is super smart with their analysis. They hired all the right people.”

Dale Jr. has been loving it, too. He was just in Mexico City, calling the NASCAR Cup Series race held abroad for the first time. Dale Jr. seemed to very much enjoy his time in Mexico.

This week, Dale Jr. and his wife, Amy, celebrated an important date. On this date in 2015 – 10 years ago – Dale asked Amy to marry him. She said yes. He called it the “best decision ever” in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday night, June 17.

“Today I asked Amy to marry me back in 2015. Best decision ever,” he said.

Dale and Amy got married on Dec. 31, 2016. The couple gave birth to their first child in 2018. They welcomed their second child in 2020.

It’s been quite a ride for Dale and Amy over these past 10 years. Congratulations are pouring in for them on Wednesday.

“May the Lord bless both of you as you journey onward as husband and wife, as parents to your beautiful children. Though you may not think this, you’re and Amy’s witness to love and marriage is an inspiration to those around you,” one fan wrote.

“Congratulations!!!!” one fan added.

“Dang, really? That’s awesome! Congrats on ten years of being a happy man!” one fan added.

“Smart choice .. enjoyed you as a driver, and was a big fan of your dad .. but your stock went up as an announcer; owner; and your work as a racing historian .. always turn the sound up when you are speaking .. thank you,” one fan added.

“A good woman is a treasure. Glad you found your one Jr!” one fan added.

“A good woman brings out a different side of a man he didn’t know he had! Then when you add becoming a Dad to the equation you realize then what true happiness is about! Congratulations on finding your one Brother! Blessings to you both!” one fan added.
